Water System Notice

The City recently received notice of a water system violation involving haloacetic acids (HAA). HAA is a byproduct that can form during the disinfection process used in water production.

This test result is from June and is not related to the blue-green algae at River Walk Park. Our water treatment plant draws water directly from the Fall River.

Our drinking water remains safe, and no alternative source of drinking water is needed. We will continue monitoring the water system and provide updates as necessary.
