By City of Neodesha on January 16, 2024

Brogan Jones was hired last fall as the City’s new administrator and began that role yesterday, January 15, 2024, having signed a 3-year agreement with the City. He replaces current Interim City Administrator Mark McAnarney, and former City Administrator Ed Truelove who left for an administrator position in Lyons, KS.
Brogan previously spent the past 7 months as City Administrator in Marion, KS, and before that was a Code Enforcement/Building Inspector in Lyons, KS for 2.5 years.

Originally from Sterling, KS, Brogan has a BS in Political Science from Fort Hays State University, an MPA from Wichita State University, an Economic Development Certificate and a City/County Management Certificate. He, along with his wife Lauren and daughter Braylynn, moved to Neodesha just over the weekend.

Brogan states: “I am thrilled to be a part of this community. I eagerly anticipate meeting and collaborating with everyone, learning more about the place we now call home. I extend my gratitude to the City of Neodesha and its citizens for granting us this privilege. Both my wife and I are genuinely excited to be here and are eager to contribute to the growth of the community!”

The City of Neodesha is looking forward to working with Brogan. Best wishes & much success towards the future!!
